Despite the huge popularity of Disneyland, there are other great US theme parks. The top parks are located in California and Florida, with Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park ranked the best theme park in the world. Orlando is a popular destination for theme parks, and offers world-class attractions, fun themed restaurants, and epic vacation homes. In addition to Disneyland, you can find other fantastic parks in other parts of the US.
If you’re planning a family vacation, consider visiting one of the many theme parks in the US. Several of them are less expensive than Disney and offer great fun. Cedar Point and Silver Dollar City are two excellent examples, as are Dollywood in Tennessee. Busch Gardens, Six Flags, and Universal Studios also have several parks throughout the country. Visiting Disney is fun, but it can be expensive and overcrowded.
If you’re a thrill-seeker, don’t miss the Hersheypark in Pennsylvania. There are over 65 restaurants at this park. Knoebels Amusement Park offers ice-cream shakes and corn dogs. You can also experience a Halloween-themed theme park at the California-based Hurricane Harbour. If you’re looking for a water park, don’t miss Hurricane Harbour in Santa Clarita. It has over 15 roller coasters, including the tallest wooden coaster in the world.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is another great choice. This park is 500 acres of animal-themed fun, with roller coasters and family-friendly rides, as well as tons of exhibits. Visitors can visit the seven themed areas, including the African continent and Asia. There’s even a ride themed after Mount Everest that’s based on the elusive yeti. The animals of Africa are well represented in Animal Kingdom.
