If you’ve ever used an Alexa device and wanted to mute the microphone, you’re not alone. The problem is that Amazon does not allow you to mute the microphone. Alexa is used on a wide variety of devices, from push-to-talk devices to wake-word initiating devices. To disable the microphone, simply press the fourth button located at the 9 o’clock position. A desktop microphone symbol will appear on this button.
